My personal recommendation to enhance your reading would be to;
- invest a minimum of 15 to 30 minutes per day (undisturbed) reading an article that would be interest you;
- look for interesting choice of words, phrases, etc.;
- make a note of these;
- if you are not sure of the meaning of it, Google it, and understand how it can be used in a sentence;
- use it appropriately the next time you speak or write.
